Psalm 57
In April of 2007, God gave me the courage to take on His plan. I was called to give up a career with prestige that I had sacrificed too much for and abandon my selfish pride. I'm living His plan right now. Part of God's plan for me was to take a leap of faith. When peers ask me, "What have you done!?" I tell them about this intense chess game that God has me in. I'm surprised by the positive responses I have received and I've discovered a few more Christians in my midst. I discovered, through my listening to God, that there are a few fundamental things thatt must apply in order for me to share my faith. First, I need to have my own story so that I can speak on a personal level of my faith in God and the grace that I received from God. Second, I needed to share my faith using my spiritual gift. Third, I need to embrace my gift and not minimize the value of my gift versus someone else's gift. I was hung up on why some are given gifts that seem more adventurous and dramatic while my gift is to be a "Priscilla", to graciously invite others into my home and allow them to share their faith and grow their faith. What I have learned since April of 2007 is to hear and then listen to God and accept the means that He has given me to share my faith with others.
2 I cry out to God Most High,
to God, who fulfills {his purpose} for me.
3 He sends from heaven and saves me,
rebuking those who hotly pursue me;
Selah
God sends His love and His faithfulness.

Renee,
Thank you for the confirmation that it is ok to keep faith. It is ok to love others for who they are, for where they are at in their lives, and for having faith that one day they may want what you have; a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I struggle with when is it ok to "keep praying, keep hoping," or when is it better to say, "they are no good, walk away"....

Post Script:
I need to clarify my last sentence. The reason I struggle sometimes with not knowing what to do, is because it is in me to try to always see the best in others, whether they are walking with the Lord, or not. So when I get advise from some that say, "walk away" in so many words,in certain situations, this confuses me.
SO again, thanks for your confirmation to keep trusting God to show me the answer.

Brenda,
I think it's great that you identified with the message. Sometimes its not how much you say but how you live and how you love and how you listen to what God has to say. God gave you a fantastic spiritual gift, to see the best in others. Embrace it and keep on seeing the best in EVERYONE just as you are doing today. God has a plan for you and in His time it will become clear to you. Keep the faith and keep talking, listening and seeing.

Brenda, my two cents.....
I think it's always ok to keep hoping and praying! I think seeing the best in others is an incredible and God-given gift. We don't ever need to say "they're no good" and walk away. They may walk away from us (it happened to Jesus all the time), but we don't ever need to give up on them. Keep going. Keep loving. Keep seeing the best and even pointing it out for them.
